With nineteen years of full time experience as a craftsman leadlighter, Kevin has a large and impressive portfolio to help you design your own distinctive panel or to show how other customers' original design ideas developed into a magnificent work of art.

Traditional

At Custom Leadlight every piece of glass within the panel is cut to size and craftsman soldered to produce a strong, vibrant panel.

The wide variety of glass textures and colours available give exceptional character to the finished product. Panels produced this way are far superior to those produced by the single sheet of glass with overlaid stick-on leads filled in with paint or plastic film. These inferior panels look flat with insipid colouring and if damaged cannot be repaired.

Art Deco

Panels can be designed or duplicated in traditional clear glass textures. Add coloured highlights to compliment your home's colour scheme.

Contemporary

Panels of birds, animals, landscapes and aquatic scenes, or even Tiger Woods can be designed to suit your individual tastes.

Federation, antique, modern or your own choice can be made.

Repairs & Restoration

Traditionally constructed leadlight panels can, over the years, weaken (especially door panels) and glass sections can be accidentally broken.

With almost 100% success, Kevin can repair and restore these panels to their original glory and with a large range of old patterned glass available, a perfect match is normally achieved.

Repairs and restoration to the St Andrews Church in Laman Street, Cooks Hill, St Josephs Church in Toronto, Merewether Presbyterian Church, Newcastle Grammar School, Rustica Restaurant in Newcastle East, Awaba House and the Bellvue Hotel reconstruction are some of the major commercial undertakings performed by Custom Leadlight.

Furniture

China cabinets, display cases, wine bars, billiard table lights and lamps can all suffer a little damage now and then. However, Kevin can repair or redesign these back to brand new.
